Ahmed O.

Ahmed O. has a diverse work experience history that spans several companies and industries. In 2011, they started their career as an Electrical Engineer at ASEC Automation, where they worked in industrial automation consultancy, specializing in oil and gas and process industries. During this time, Ahmed gained expertise in various programming languages and communication protocols.

In 2014, Ahmed joined YOUXEL Technology as a Software Engineer, focusing on mobile development. Ahmed then moved on to co-found an early-stage startup in 2014, where they took on the role of a Software Engineer and Co-Founder. Here, Ahmed developed an MVP for a decentralized messaging service, utilizing mesh networking and various networking technologies.

Ahmed then joined IBM in 2015 as a Senior Application Developer. Ahmed played a crucial role in building and maintaining software components for clients such as Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Dubai Health Authority, and internal projects at IBM. Ahmed'sskills spanned a wide range of technologies, including Java EE, Spring, OracleDB, and frontend development.

In 2018, Ahmed transitioned to Proxym Group, where they initially worked as a Technical Lead in Application Development. Ahmed acted as the engineering focal point for the Road and Transport Authority, leading development squads both on-site and remotely. Later, Ahmed took on the role of a Technical Lead in Solutions Engineering, where they provided technical expertise and built proposals for internal stakeholders.

Currently, Ahmed is working at Injazat as a Senior Tech Lead in Digital Ventures. In this role, they lead cross-functional engineering teams and guides early-stage ventures in terms of discovery, technical strategy, and architecture development. Ahmed actively contributes to product architecture and technical design decisions.

Ahmed also attended the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in 2008 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering - BE degree in the same field of Systems Engineering.
