Jeewantha Herath

Jeewantha Herath has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Jeewantha started their career as a Trainee Technical Officer at Srilanka Telecom OPMC (Homagama) in 2011. Jeewantha then joined Commech Engineering as a Telecommunications Technician from June 2012 to May 2014. In 2015, they joined Etisalat as a Telecommunications Technician, where they worked until January 2022. Currently, they are employed as a Data Center Engineer at Injazat starting from December 2021.

Jeewantha Herath completed an Advanced Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering at the Srilanka Telecom Training Center (Walisara) starting in 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Jeewantha obtained the CCNA certification from Cisco in October 2020. In April 2020, Jeewantha also obtained the Fortinet Network Security Expert Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from Fortinet. Furthermore, Jeewantha has completed various training programs and obtained certifications in areas such as Access Network Planning Standards, OFS-Work Flow & Processes in Exchanges, Cloud Fundamentals, Next Generation Networks (NGN) Orientation Training, and Access Network (Legacy & Gpon) Orientation. These certifications were obtained from Etisalat, with specific months and years of completion ranging from 2016 to 2017.
