Maya Abouzeid

Maya Abouzeid has extensive work experience in the field of IT management and project management. Maya is currently working as the Manager of IT Governance and Planning at Injazat since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Dubai Holding as an IT Project Manager for Portfolio Management & Governance from October 2019 to February 2021. Before that, Maya was a Senior Project Manager at Levenbert from May 2018 to September 2019. Maya also gained experience as a Regional Project Manager at AXA from November 2016 to June 2017. Maya's career began at MetLife, where they worked as a Quality and Process Improvement Analyst from August 2013 to September 2016, and then as an IT Project Manager from January 2010 to August 2013. Maya'searlier experience includes serving as an IT Manager at MAF Carrefour Hypermarkets from September 2005 to June 2009.

Maya Abouzeid earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology from the University of Dubai, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition to their degree, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. In 2007, Maya completed the ITIL Service Operation certification from SitesPower Training Center - Management & IT Training. In 2017, they participated in the PMP® Certification Training Course offered by New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. Most recently, in 2018, Maya became Scrum Master Certified through the SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
