Mohamad Lawand

Mohamad Lawand began their work experience in 2007 as a Technical Consultant at Spectrum Networks Solutions Pvt Ltd. Mohamad then worked at Deloitte starting in 2008, first as a Consultant and then as a Senior Consultant. From 2015 to 2017, they served as a Manager - Cyber and Information Security at Deloitte. In 2017, Lawand joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Technologist - Manager until 2019, when they founded their own company, BlackHatch, where they served as the Founder and Managing Director. Lawand then worked at Injazat from 2020 onwards, first as a Product Management Consultant, then as a Product Manager, and currently as a Solutions Portfolio Manager.

Mohamad Lawand's education history begins with their Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, which they obtained from Saint Joseph University of Beirut between 2003 and 2006. Mohamad then pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Maîtrise in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from 2006 to 2008. Following this, they completed a Master's degree in Systems & Networks Security, specializing in Sécurité des Systèmes & Réseaux, at Saint Joseph University of Beirut from 2008 to 2009.

Lawand has also received certifications related to cybersecurity. In March 2017, they completed the Cybersecurity for ICS program, which included certifications in various areas such as Current Trends (Threats), Cybersecurity Risk, Determining the Impact of a Cybersecurity Incident, and Differences in Deployment of ICS. These certifications were awarded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Additionally, Lawand obtained the Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certification from ISACA in October 2020.
