Phil Clarke has over 18 years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement. Phil is currently serving as the Director of Strategic Sourcing & Partnerships at Injazat since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Vendor Management and Centralized Procurement at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank from 2016 to 2020. From 2014 to 2016, Phil was a Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton. Phil also served as a Snr Category Manager (Procurement) at Musanada from 2008 to 2014 and as a Technology Procurement Manager at Barclays Capital from 2006 to 2008. Phil began their career in 2002 as an IT & Telecoms Procurement Executive at Eli Lilly and Company, where they managed procurement services for IT and Telecom spend, executed IT transformation programs, and developed global sourcing strategies.
Phil Clarke earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from The Open University, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed a course at the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply, earning an MCIPS certification in Purchasing and Supply from 1997 to 1999. Earlier in their education, Phil attended the University of Leeds from 1992 to 1995, where they pursued a BA JH degree in Geography and 20th C History. The field of study for this degree is unspecified.
