Shimal de Silva

Shimal De Silva has work experience as a Datacenter Operations Engineering Technician at Injazat since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at WindForce (Pvt) Ltd from June 2018 to August 2018. During their internship, they gained experience in a 20MW wind farm where they designed a cooler for the turbine, ran simulations, and conducted basic operation and maintenance activities for wind turbines.

Shimal De Silva's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland, which was obtained between 2014 and 2019. Before that, Shimal completed a Foundation degree in Science with a focus on Engineering at Heriot-Watt University in 2014.

In addition to these degrees, Shimal also holds several certifications. In 2021, Shimal obtained Advanced First Aid & CPR training from GTSC UAE - Gulf technical & safety training center. In 2020, Shimal obtained certification in Basic HVAC system from Learn Well Training Center. Furthermore, in 2018, Shimal became an Associate Member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.
