Ariel Zach

SVP, Engineering at Inkling

Ariel Zach is the SVP of Engineering at Inkling. Prior to their current position, they served as the VP of Engineering at PubNub from April 2015 to March 2017. During their time at PubNub, they led the engineering and DevOps teams through a period of commercial success and over tenfold growth in user traffic flowing through PubNub's Data Stream Network.

Ariel has a proven track record of being able to scale systems to meet the needs of their users. Ariel was instrumental in scaling PubNub to over 1,000 globally distributed servers in the cloud to support 1.8 Trillion monthly messages. This is rivaling Twitter's traffic-size, with no downtime and honoring the 99.999% SLA. In addition, they delivered the groundbreaking PubNub BLOCKS service that makes the network programmable, facilitating serverless computing for realtime applications.

Under Ariel's leadership, the engineering organization was transformed to a team-based model and the DevOps team was scaled. Ariel also initiated the transition to Agile. Ariel's experience and accomplishments make their well-suited for their current role at Inkling.

Ariel Zach has a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University, and is certified as a Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
