Steve Yesel

Steve Yesel is the VP of Product Strategy at Inkling. Steve has over 10 years of experience in international product management and has played a pivotal role in the growth of several companies.

Steve started their career at Amazon.com in 2007 as the Technical Integration and Engagement Manager for Merchant Services and Kindle ePeriodicals. In this role, they were responsible for managing the technical integration of new merchants onto the Kindle platform and ensuring their success. Steve also worked closely with the Kindle ePeriodicals team to launch and grow this new business.

In 2011, Steve left Amazon to join Ancestry.com as their Senior Manager of International Product. In this role, they were responsible for launching Ancestry's first new international site in 8 years, Ancestry.mx. Steve also moved to the EU to build the company's first international product organization and delivered multiple products across customer acquisition, content, and platform verticals.

Steve left Ancestry in 2015 to join Instructure as their Senior International Product Strategy Manager. In this role, they created a 3 and 5 year international expansion strategy for new market growth, developed a strategic hiring plan for the international product team, researched product strengths and weaknesses in existing international markets, and conducted on-site visits with international clients to gather broad product requirements. Steve remained at Instructure through their IPO process and after they became a publicly traded company.

In 2018, Steve joined Inkling as their VP of Product Strategy. In this role, they are responsible for defining Inkling's product strategy and roadmap and ensuring that the products they deliver are valuable to their customers and meet their business objectives.

Steve Yesel studied international relations and political science at the University of Minnesota and Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.

They are on a team with Anthony Luciano - SVP, Sales, Jim Pearson - CFO, and Channa Heng - VP, Revenue Operations. Steve Yesel reports to Mike Parks, CEO.
