Steven Davis

Steven Davis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steven is currently working as the SVP of Engineering at Innodata Inc. since February 2022, after serving as the VP of Engineering from January 2021 to January 2022. Prior to their current role, Steven worked as an Advisor at Perceiver AI starting from January 2021.

Before joining Perceiver AI, Steven co-founded Signafire in 2013 and served as the Chief Technology Officer, playing a pivotal role in defining the product strategy and innovation. Steven was responsible for designing and developing distributed processing systems, fusion methodologies for disparate data sets, and intuitive analytical and collaboration tools. Steven also worked closely with clients to deliver effective architectural solutions. Steven held this position at Signafire until November 2020.

From July 2011 to November 2013, Steven worked at HumanGeo Group, initially as the Executive Vice President and later as the Chief Technology Officer. Steven led the creation of innovative software and analytics for geospatial data fusion and big data analytics. Steven focused on advancing the technology vision and strategy of HumanGeo as a market leader in technical and analytic solutions.

Steven's early career includes roles as a Consultant at Pivotal Leap from March 2011 to July 2011, Lead Information Systems Engineer at MITRE from 2004 to 2011, Software Developer at Software AG in 2003, and Software Developer at Commonwealth Computer Research, Inc. in 2001.

Throughout their career, Steven Davis has accumulated extensive experience in engineering leadership, product strategy, big data analytics, software development, and technology visioning, making him a valuable asset in various industry domains.

Steven Davis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Systems and Information Engineering from the University of Virginia, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Steven then pursued further education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science degree in Systems and Information Engineering from 2003 to 2004.
