Paul Cheng

Paul Cheng has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Paul started their career as a Technical Support Co-op at netSimplicity in 2003. In 2007, they worked as an Engineering Co-op at Azure Dynamics and as a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia. From 2010 to 2014, Paul served as a System Integration And Test Engineer at Harris Corporation, where they led the support team, traveled to customer sites, and facilitated communication between the RD team and customers. Paul then joined Imagine Communications in 2014 as a Software Engineer, where they created frontends, collaborated with QA, and unified UI/UX for upcoming projects. In 2019, Paul became a Senior Field Application Engineer at AtGames Cloud Holdings Ltd., where they provided support for the Legends Ultimate device, trained the CS team, and worked with the Sales team on showcasing new features. Paul was later promoted to Platform Development Manager, where they acted as a liaison across various business units and managed firmware releases. Currently, Paul holds the position of Director Of Engineering at Innova Solutions, starting in 2021.

Paul Cheng obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia, where they studied from 2002 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Cornell University, completing their studies from 2008 to 2009.
