Byron Woodford

Byron Woodford is an experienced professional in project and security risk management, currently serving as a Senior Project & Security Risk Management Specialist at Innovapost since March 2021. Prior to this role, Byron held the position of Senior Manager at the Bank of Canada from April 2019 to March 2021. Extensive experience at TELUS from May 2003 to April 2019 includes roles as Manager of Technology Security and Senior Security Consultant, where Byron was the Lead Security Architect for the Global Asset Protection Program. Byron also managed a team of 15 in testing various systems and applications at TELUS. Earlier career positions include Senior Security Specialist at Hewlett-Packard (Canada) and Security Analyst for the Government of Canada. Educational qualifications include a Master of Information Technology Security from Ontario Tech University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics & Computer Science from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.
