Robert Sherwood

Robert Sherwood has a diverse work experience in various finance and leadership roles. Robert began their career at Nationwide, where they served as the CFO-VP, Board Secretary & Treasurer of Nationwide Advantage Mortgage Company. Robert provided oversight of accounting, financial reporting, and controllership for multiple business segments. After that, they worked as the Vice Chair at the Polk County Housing Trust Fund. Robert then joined HomeServices Mortgage as the CFO-Senior VP, where they played a crucial role in building the organization from the ground up. Robert oversaw various operations and implemented systems and best practices. Following this, they served as the CFO - Board Treasurer at Broker Dealer Financial Services Corp. & Investment Advisors Corp., where they led strategic processes, implemented revenue generation strategies, and achieved cost savings measures. Robert also worked as the CFO at HK Solutions Group. Currently, Robert holds the position of SVP Finance at Innovation Refunds.

Robert Sherwood attended the University of Northern Iowa from 1986 to 1990 where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting. Robert then pursued further education at the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2004 and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In addition to their academic achievements, Robert Sherwood also obtained the CPA certification from the Iowa Professional Licensing Board in May 1990 and the Series 27 - FINOP certification from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority) in September 2016.
