Joshua Bassette

Joshua Bassette is an experienced professional in music broadcasting and student development with a background in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Casual Classical Host at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council and as a Residence Hall Director at St. John Fisher College, Joshua has demonstrated expertise in programming musical playlists, providing contextual education, and guiding teams of student workers. With a solid history in arts education at Interlochen Center for the Arts, Joshua has also held significant supervisory positions, including Assistant Director for the Institutes Division, and has collaborated on numerous event planning and community-building initiatives. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Grove City College and has developed skills in student engagement and program supervision throughout a diverse range of roles.
