William Blackmon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and program evaluation, particularly in the fields of education and poverty alleviation. Currently serving as Associate Director of Consumer Protection at Innovations for Poverty Action since June 2017, William has held various roles including Senior Research Manager and Research Manager. Notably, William managed multiple randomized control trial impact evaluations in Kenya, focusing on educational interventions. Prior to this, William worked as a Consultant for the World Bank, conducting evaluations of education reform projects and designing surveys for impact assessments in Tanzania and Uganda. William's career also includes significant involvement with the Peace Corps, where skills in training support, data analysis, and educational outreach were further developed. William holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.
