What will be your focus?

As a Management Consultant, you will help organisations to solve issues, create value, maximise growth and improve business performance. You will provide objective advice and expertise and help an organisation to explore growth opportunities in operations, finance, and management by:

  • Conducting workshops and meetings with senior management and stakeholders to assess organisational problems
  • Conducting workshops with subject matter experts and developing current state (AS-IS) and future state (TO-BE) business process maps
  • Identifying efficiency issues, root causes for issues and opportunities for improvement and optimisation
  • Developing business cases for transformation, improvement and automation projects
  • Engaging senior management and key stakeholders for transformation and automation initiatives and projects
  • Designing operating and governance models, change management processes for transformation and automation projects
  • Problem identification through management consultations, team meetings, case framework analysis, and Lean Six sigma tools
  • Providing strategic and operational advisory and help the management of the business implement the most cost-effective methods to drive operational excellence
  • Analysing business processes, identify opportunities, define RPA value proposition, reengineer process to improve automation potential and recommend business improvement strategies

This is a full-time role, based in Melbourne.

What you will bring

  • Undergraduate degree with strong academic record and/or master, MBA
  • Deep expertise in key industries such as resources, retail, health, higher education, engineering, banking & finance
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to break part ambiguous problems
  • Solid functional knowledge such as strategy, business development, manufacturing, supply chain, change management
  • Strong logical reasoning and solutions ideation skills
  • Quantitative aptitude
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
