Idan Bakish

Idan Bakish is a highly experienced professional in the fields of optical systems and engineering, currently serving as the Physical System Simulation Team Leader at Innoviz Technologies since November 2017. Previously held roles at Innoviz include System Architecture Team Leader and Optical Systems Team Leader, focusing on advanced LiDAR technology and system design. Prior to Innoviz, Idan contributed as an Optical System Engineer at Consumer Physics, Inc., playing a key role in developing a compact near-infrared spectrometer. Experience also includes work as a Physicist/Electro-Optics Engineer at Microsoft on the HoloLens project, as well as a Research Assistant at Bar Ilan University and a Pre-silicon Verification Engineer at Intel. Idan holds both an M.Sc and a B.Sc from Bar-Ilan University in Electrical Engineering and Physics, respectively.
