Cheryl Childress has worked in various accounting and finance roles since 2005. cheryl began their career as a Controller at Black Oak Associates in 2005. In 2010, they moved to Virginia Episcopal School as a Controller. Two years later, they joined Environmental Banc & Exchange and Black Oak Properties as an H.R. Manager and Asst. Controller. In 2014, they became the Director of Finance and Administration at Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest. Most recently, they have been working as an Accountant at Innovu since 2020.

Cheryl Childress holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University.
