Kimberly Rodriguez has over 10 years of professional experience. In 2022, they began working at the University of Minnesota as an Assistant Instructor for Full Stack Web Development. In this role, they taught and facilitated the fundamentals of programming, supported detailed lesson plans, and reviewed students' projects.

In the same year, they started working at Innowatts as a Software Engineer for Data. In this role, they were one of six full stack engineers focused on the company's SaaS platform. Kimberly built and styled a system that alerted users when they reached a set limit of metrics capacity.

In 2016, they were a Riordan MBA Fellow at UCLA Anderson School of Management. In 2011, they were a Law Fellow at UCLA School of Law. In 2012, they were a 2013 New Leaders Council Fellow in Los Angeles. In 2018, they obtained the Fundamentals of Data Analysis for Government certification from Socrata. In 2021, they were a 2021 GDI Hackathon Participant and Judge Award Winner. Kimberly is currently enrolled in UCLA Extension for a Full Stack Web Development degree in Computer Programming with a 4.0 GPA and is also a 100Devs Fellow in Full Stack Software Development, which they obtained in 2022.
