Lin Zheng

Lin Zheng has over 18 years of experience in data science and geophysics. Lin began their career as a Research Assistant at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005 and at Tsinghua University in 2004. In 2008, they earned their Ph.D. in geophysics from Rice University and began working as a Geophysicist at BP in 2012. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at CGG as a Senior Project Leader, Project Leader, Senior Data Analyst, and Data Analyst. Currently, they are a Senior Data Scientist at Innowatts.

Lin Zheng has an extensive educational background. From 2001 to 2005, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Tsinghua University. Lin then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Acoustics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences between 2005 and 2008. Following this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Peking University between 2006 and 2008. Finally, they completed their education with a Ph.D. in Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Rice University between 2008 and 2013. In addition, Lin Zheng has obtained numerous certifications from Coursera, including "Getting Started with Data Analytics on AWS" in January 2022, "Data Wrangling, Analysis and AB Testing with SQL" in December 2021, "Applying Machine Learning to your Data with GCP" in November 2021, and so on.
