The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Service Desk Officer, Singapore, to join our Group IT team on a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract basis.

Reporting to the Asia Support Team Lead, the primary purpose of this position is to support the operations of all iNova Pharmaceuticals sites and users (primary focus on Singapore) and to ensure continuous operations of all IT related devices and services by performing analysis, development, training and support of iNova IT infrastructure

Key accountabilities include:

Accountabilities

  • Acting as the helpdesk support for the users, solve the first level user problem, perform basic troubleshooting for users.

  • Assists staff with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.

  • Log and resolve all service desk calls along with keeping end users updated and informed.

  • Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software when required.

  • Works with other countries IT support staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from users.

  • Interact with computer platforms in a multi-layered client-server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including file, email, application servers, and other related systems.

  • Manage ongoing PC re-image program – Intune

  • Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software.

  • Recommends and/ or performs upgrades on systems if necessary.

  • Assist in the purchase, build and deployment of IT related hardware and software.

  • Maintain all IT inventory by performing hardware and software audits.

  • Experience working in Azure environment.

  • Support Video Conferencing systems.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Reported customer/user satisfaction is paramount.
  • Log 100% of all service requests received from end-users.
  • Timely triage, resolution, or assignment of logged tickets
  • Liaise with the Application Owner teams for any service requests outside support area.
  • Software and hardware audits are performed and completed annually.
  • Equipment and systems rolled out completely and successfully.

  

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess a Degree or TAFE Diploma in IT with good technical knowledge and skills in Desktop support

Other key requirements for this role include:

  • Passion for customer service - organised, approachable, enthusiastic, resilient, and friendly

  • Experience working in a full Office365 environment

  • Microsoft Certified Professional

  • Experience with SCCM/Intune

  • Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal

  • Hard working and willingness to work according to job demands

  • Logical and clear thinking

  • Exceptional problem solver

Additional Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Adhere to company values at all times

  • Able to commit 5 days on-site support

  • International travelling may be required
