Joachim Eeckhout

Joachim Eeckhout has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joachim founded and served as the General Manager of Labiotech.eu, a leading digital media company covering the European Biotech industry. In December 2021, Labiotech became part of Inova, a biopharma partnering platform, where Joachim continued as the General Manager at Labiotech.

Additionally, they worked as an External Lecturer at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, teaching in the Master in Life Science Management program from October 2016 to January 2020.

Joachim also gained experience as a Business Development Intern at SYMBIOSIS part of BIOPHARM GmbH in 2014 and as a Business Analyst at Boehringer Ingelheim from September 2012 to February 2013. Joachim started their professional career as an R&D intern at DaVolterra from March 2012 to May 2012.

Joachim Eeckhout's education history begins with their studies at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL from 2013 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree in Management of Technology and Innovation. Prior to that, they pursued their interest in biotechnology at SupBiotech, école de biotechnologies, from 2009 to 2014, completing another Master's degree in Biotechnology. In 2011, they also had the opportunity to engage in an academic exchange at Université de Montréal, where they focused on Microbiology and Immunology.
