Daniel Michaels

Daniel Michaels has extensive experience in laboratory operations and management. Daniel started their career at Boston Medical Center as a Laboratory Technician II in the Department of Medicine, focusing on HIV-1 infection and aging. Daniel then worked at Boston Medical Center and Boston University School of Medicine as a Laboratory Technician II in the Section of Infectious Disease and the Department of Microbiology, supporting research efforts in infectious diseases. In 2018, they joined Inozyme Pharma, first as a Laboratory Manager and then as a Senior Manager of Facilities and Laboratory Operations. In this role, they provided logistical and management support to research scientists and company leadership, while also ensuring a safe and efficient work environment for innovative research strategies.

Daniel Michaels attended UMass Boston from 2005 to 2009 where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, with a focus on General Biology.
