Jing Liang-Guallpa, PhD has extensive work experience in scientific research. Jing is currently working as a Field Scientific Consultant at Inscopix, Inc. starting from April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) where they held multiple roles including Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Scientific Project Lead, and Predoctoral Research Fellow from August 2017 to April 2021. Jing also worked as a Graduate Research Fellow at the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) and Brown University. In addition, they served as a Postbaccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award (IRTA) Fellow at the National Institute on Aging (NIA). Their earlier experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Conference Director at Hunter College, as well as a Teaching Assistant at Hunter College. Jing also worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, where they gained experience in laboratory work, behavioral analysis, and data collection for a meta-analysis.
Jing Liang-Guallpa, PhD pursued their education at Hunter College, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology. Their exact start year at Hunter College is unknown, but they completed their studies in 2015. Following this, Jing Liang-Guallpa went on to attend Brown University, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience. Jing attended Brown University from 2016 to 2020.
