Luisa Gronenberg

Luisa Gronenberg is currently serving as the VP Technology Integration & Strain Development at Insempra since October 2021. Prior to this role, Luisa worked at Biosyntia from October 2013 to October 2021, where Luisa held various positions including Principal Scientist, Head of Strain Engineering, and Project Leader. Luisa also has experience as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles from August 2010 to September 2013. Their research interests include Metabolic Engineering, Biofuels, Carbon Fixation, and Cyanobacteria. Luisa's educational background includes a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University, as well as a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the same institution and the University of Arizona, respectively.
