Jiayi Gao

Jiayi (Joy) Gao is an experienced software engineer currently employed at Stripe since December 2019, while concurrently serving as a Data Engineering Fellow at Insight Data Science. In this role, Jo built a cloud-based data pipeline using AWS technologies to enhance data processing capabilities. Previous experience includes a Data Science Intern position at NBCUniversal Media, LLC, and another internship at Black Sesame Technologies Inc., focusing on decision science and advanced driver-assistance systems, respectively. Earlier roles featured IT support at ILW and backend support for financial operations at Morgan Stanley. Jiayi (Joy) Gao holds a Master of Science in Data Science from NYU Center for Data Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Dickinson College.
