Cormac Taggart

Cormac Taggart has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Cormac most recently served as the Head of Illiquid Asset Investment Risk at Insight Investment since October 2020. Before that, they were a Senior Risk Manager at Insight Investment from 2019 to 2020. Prior to joining Insight Investment, Cormac held the position of Senior Risk Manager at Chenavari Investment Managers from 2017 to 2019. Cormac also worked as a Quantitative Modelling Consultant at Willis Towers Watson from 2016 to 2017. Cormac has had roles in risk management at CQS from 2011 to 2016 and in portfolio management at Commerzbank AG from 2006 to 2011. Cormac started their career as a Rating Analyst at Fitch Ratings from 2004 to 2006 and as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs from 2001 to 2004.

Cormac Taggart completed their Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics at Queen's University Belfast from 1996 to 1999. Cormac then pursued a degree in Financial Mathematics at The University of Edinburgh from 1999 to 2000.
