Bret Bush, ARM, CRIS

Bret Bush has extensive experience in risk management, insurance, and technology-driven solutions. Bret is currently the Co-Founder of Insight Risk Technologies, a Managing General Agency (MGA) that utilizes Internet of Things technologies to minimize damages and losses in construction projects and businesses. Prior to this, Bret worked at The Hartford as the Strategy & Execution Lead for IoT, where they provided consultation and support for new technology solutions. Bret also held various roles at Munich Re/HSB, including Director of Risk Management and Social Media Ambassador, where they managed relationships between HSB and its clients and brought loss prevention expertise to the company. Bret has also worked as the Director of Business Development IoT at Hartford Steam Boiler and as the President/CEO of Digital Document Strategies, Inc. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in risk management, operations, sales, and business development.

Bret Bush, ARM, CRIS, has a solid education history in the field of accounting and business management. From 1983 to 1986, they attended Sawyer College of Business, where they focused on Accounting and Business/Management.

In addition to their formal education, Bret has obtained several certifications relevant to their professional path. In June 2005, they acquired the CRIS (Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist) credential from the International Risk Management Institute Inc. Following that, in July 2009, they achieved the ARM (Associate in Risk Management) designation from the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters.

Continuing their commitment to professional development, Bret obtained further certifications in the insurance industry. In August 2021, they acquired the Insurance Broker certifications for Property & Casualty and Life & Health, granted by the Texas Department of Insurance. Most recently, in August 2022, they earned the Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent qualification from the Texas Real Estate Commission. These additional certifications demonstrate Bret's dedication to expanding their knowledge and expertise in multiple areas of risk management and insurance.
