Danica Smith

Danica Smith has had a diverse work experience across various industries. Danica most recently worked at INSIGHTEC, starting as a Manager of Patient Education in November 2018 and then progressing to become the Director of Patient Education in September 2020. Prior to this, they were a self-employed writer and author from 2013. From 2016 to 2018, they worked at Strategies Now, Inc. as a Performance Engineering Manager. Before that, they were a Member of Technical Staff Technology Development at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from 2011 to 2013. Danica founded and directed The Fit Arcade, LLC from 2006 to 2008. Their earlier experiences include working as a Chemical Process Engineer at Lucent Technologies / Agere Systems from 2001 to 2005, and as a Yield Improvement Engineer at Lucent Technologies Bell Labs from 1997 to 2001.

Danica Smith has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix. Danica also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Florida. Additionally, they have obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
