Dan Phillips

Director, Technical Account Management at Insightly

Dan Phillips has a strong background in customer service and account management. Dan began their career in 2014 at Gusto (formerly ZenPayroll), where they initially worked in Customer Care, assisting customers with product support and serving as a mentor. Dan then transitioned to the Tax Resolution department, where they co-developed the department and implemented process improvements to streamline case assignment and decrease handle time. In 2016, Dan joined Insightly as a Tier 1 Customer Care Representative, where they monitored and managed the Insightly Public Community, handled escalated tickets, and performed QA testing. Dan then progressed to roles of increasing responsibility, including Customer Success Manager and Lead Technical Account Manager, before their current position as the Director of Technical Account Management. In this role, they oversee a team and ensures the successful management of technical accounts.

Dan Phillips has a diverse education history. In 2008-2009, they attended Berklee College of Music, focusing on Vocal Performance. Then, in 2011-2012, they pursued Computer Science at Berkeley City College. Following that, they enrolled in Diablo Valley College from 2014-2015 to continue studying Computer Science. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including Automation Pro I and II Certification from Workato in July 2021, HubSpot Sales Software from HubSpot Academy in June 2022, and a certification in Preventing Workplace Harassment from Emtrain (exact month and year not specified).
