Pat Herbert

Pat Herbert serves as the Vice President of Engineering for Data Solutions at insightsoftware since September 2019. Prior experience includes roles at SAS from 1990 to 2019, where Pat held positions such as Senior Director of Data Management R&D and Principal Systems Architect in Big Data R&D. Additionally, Pat was the Vice President of Strategic Business Relations at DataFlux, a SAS subsidiary, from 2005 to 2012. Early career experience includes serving as Senior Software Manager at SAS and R&D Manager at Tangram Enterprise Solutions from 1985 to 1990. Pat Herbert earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 1979 and 1983.
