Jasper M.

Jasper M. has a diverse work experience. Jasper began their career in 2009 as a Biological Technical Assistant at the Institute of Marine Ecosystem and Fishery Science. Jasper then interned in Downstream Processing at COPPE / UFRJ in 2014, where they were involved in developing purification processes for a recombinant blood protein. Jasper later joined Hochschule Flensburg as a Laboratory Assistant and Teacher Assistant, teaching thermodynamics and heat & mass transfer to undergrad students. In 2015, they interned in Neurobiology and Disease Modeling at LaNCE. Jasper then worked as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teacher Assistant at PEQ/COPPE/UFRJ, where they prepared and gave classes in Portuguese. In 2018, they embarked on a Latin America road trip before joining Yokogawa Insilico Biotechnology GmbH in 2019 as a Junior Data Scientist. More recently, Jasper assumed the role of DevOps Engineer at the same company.

Jasper M. pursued their education in the field of engineering. Jasper obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology and Process Engineering from Hochschule Flensburg from 2012 to 2016. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in an interchange program at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, focusing on Engenharia Bioquímica from 2014 to 2015.

Furthering their academic pursuits, Jasper completed a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Data Science Math Skills from Coursera, and in 2022, they earned a certification in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft.
