Anna Gaponova

Anna Gaponova is a Research Biologist at Insilico Medicine, working since September 2020 on drug target and biomarker discovery and data analysis. Previously, Gaponova served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology from 2016 to 2020 in the Laboratory of Genome Editing, where the focus was on developing in vitro and in vivo transgenic models of human diseases. Gaponova's early research experience includes a role as a Graduate Student in Dr. Erica Golemis' laboratory at Fox Chase Cancer Center from 2013 to 2016 and as a Researcher at the National Medical Research Radiological Centre of Russia from 2010 to 2013. Gaponova holds a PhD in Biochemistry from Kazan State University (2015-2018) and an earlier degree from The Russian State Medical University (2007-2013).
