Clark Paterson

Clark Paterson is a seasoned propulsion engineer with extensive experience in engineering analysis and design. Currently serving as a Propulsion Engineer at Insitu Inc since May 2021 and as President of Paterson Services, LLC since October 2020, Clark specializes in delivering practical engineering solutions, including CFD and systems analysis, with expertise in cavitation, combustion, and heat transfer. Previously, as Chief Engineer at Prometheus Applied Technologies, Clark led the development of CAE workflows and new combustion technologies. A significant tenure at Woodward, Inc. from 2005 to 2020 involved roles from Engineer to Staff Engineer, focusing on new analysis methods and training. Clark's academic foundation includes an M.S. in Combustion and Energy Conversion from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Applied Physics and Math from Linfield University.
