He has also had P&L positions throughout his career.
He has expertise in establishing and directing cross-functional teams to help organizations drive growth through contemporary marketing and offer excellent customer experiences across many channels. He is a strategic leader with a demonstrated track record of advancing customer-centric marketing projects. With a focus on data-driven decision-making and performance improvement, he has a thorough understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce.
He was instrumental in the introduction of one of the first D2C brand websites in India in 1999, and in 2002, he developed the first D2C brand e-commerce platform from India that allowed for multi-currency sales abroad.
From 2000 to 2005, he also ran his own business, providing customers in the USA, UK, HK, and India with web-based business solutions, e-commerce solutions, and digital marketing services.
He has worked with a wide variety of companies and sectors throughout the course of his career, including B2C and B2B companies including Microsoft, Kyndryl, GSK, Nestle, Kellogg’s, Unilever, HSBC, American Express Bank, Tata Group, and Aditya Birla Group.
