Joel Burns

Joel Burns has over 15 years of experience in product management and content partnerships. Joel recently joined Inspirato as a Principal Product Manager in November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Verizon Media as the Director of Product, Content Partnerships from January 2019 to February 2021. Before Verizon Media, Joel held various roles at Oath, AOL, Yahoo!, and Associated Content. Joel has a strong background in managing content development, overseeing editorial processes, and defining business requirements for publishing tools.

Joel Burns completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the University of Colorado Boulder from 1995 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Sport and Exercise Science, specializing in Sport Administration, at the University of Northern Colorado from 2002 to 2003. Joel also obtained the certification of Certified Agile Scrum Master from Rally Software in 2008.
