Tara Johnson is a Professional Coach at Bravely where they coach employees at all levels of their careers to gain clarity and confidence. Before that, they were a Manager for Diversity & Inclusion and Community Service at Bloomingdale's. Tara's earlier experience includes roles at Columbia University and University of Illinois at Chicago, where they worked as an Assistant Director in career services. Their career started at JPMorgan Chase as a University Relations Specialist.
Tara Johnson, who prefers she/her pronouns, has a strong educational background and a variety of certifications. Tara holds a Master's degree in Urban Education and Leadership from the University of Illinois Chicago. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at Truman State University.
In addition to their degrees, Tara has also obtained several certifications. Tara is a certified NLP Integrated Life Coach and a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner, both from the iNLP Center. Tara also holds a certification as a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) from the World Coach Institute. Furthermore, Tara has a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
Currently, Tara is working towards obtaining a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) certification from the International Coaching Federation, which is scheduled to be completed in March 2023.
