Deb Discenza is a dedicated leader in the field of neonatal care and support for families of premature infants. Currently, Deb serves as a Community Engagement Board Member at the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, and as Co-Founder, VP, and Treasurer of the Alliance for Black NICU Families. As the Founder and CEO of PreemieWorld, LLC since 2008, Deb has developed a resourceful community for parents and professionals focused on the well-being of preemies. Additionally, Deb is the Founder and CEO of Crystal Ball Health, LLC, and holds various roles in organizations like iCAN Research and the Critical Path Institute's International Neonatal Consortium. With a strong commitment to advocacy and education, Deb also contributes as a columnist for multiple neonatal publications and moderates an online support forum with a global reach. Deb holds a Master’s degree in English, Writing, and Editing from George Mason University.
