Daniel Schefer is currently a Research Assistant here at Inspirna. He recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis where he received a B.A. in Biology with a concentration in Biochemistry. He has been involved with cancer research since his junior year of high school. Most recently, he worked on characterizing PDX mouse lines as a pre-clinical model for malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNST). He would then use these lines to evaluate new therapies for MPNST.
