Kim leads overall clinical operations at Inspirna and is responsible for planning and execution of the clinical trials with a focus on quality and compliance, as well as management of the clinical operations department including strategic planning, resourcing, finances, outsourcing, and process development and improvement.

Kim is an accomplished clinical operations executive with more than 28 years of progressive leadership experience in both large pharmaceutical companies including Merck and Wyeth, and in biotechnology companies including Cabaletta Bio (Autoimmune Cell Therapy), Northern Biologics (Oncology Biologics), and Morphotek (Oncology Biologics). She exceled in building and overseeing clinical operations functions including clinical trial management & monitoring, document management, data management, medical writing, and clinical supply logistics.

Kim has led cross-functional teams in conducting global clinical trials across all phases of clinical development in therapeutic areas including infectious disease, autoimmune disease, and most notably in Oncology with over 15 years experience. Her clinical trial management experience includes several first-in-human phase 1 dose escalation and expansion trials, and multiple proof of concept and registrational trials including an 1100 patient, 29 country, registrational trial in ovarian cancer. Kim holds a BS in Public Health.
