Kathleen Mayo

Kathleen Mayo M.S. is the Applied Nutrition Research and Development Manager at Insta-Pro International since June 2017, overseeing R&D operations and educating on extrusion technology and nutrition. Previously, Kathleen served as an Applied Nutrition Technologist, engaging with customers regarding extruded plants and value-added products. Prior experience includes various roles at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, culminating in a position as an Immunobiology Graduate Research Assistant, where research focused on swine virology and immunology. Kathleen also gained teaching experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, and supported STEM conference management as an Assistant at the Taking the Road Less Traveled Career Conference. Kathleen earned a Master of Science in Immunobiology and a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a focus on Dairy Science from Iowa State University.
