Stavros Roumelis

Stavros Roumelis has a wealth of experience in software engineering. Stavros is currently a Senior Frontend Engineer - Tech Lead at Instacar and a Senior Front End Engineer at Oda IKE, both starting in 2022. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Software Development Team Lead and Software Engineer at Mellon Technologies and a React Native Developer at ATCOM S.A. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Application Developer at NAKAS GROUP. From 2013 to 2015, they provided support teaching on undergraduate and graduate courses at the Department of Geography, Harokopio University of Athens, and co-authored a manual for the free and open source software Q GIS. In 2010, they did casual work as a Software Developer at IntSystems, and from 2008 to 2010, they worked at the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR) at the Institute of Marine Biology of Crete.

Stavros Roumelis obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Studies from the University of the Aegean, Deparment of Marine Science from 2003 to 2010. Stavros then obtained an MSc in Applied Geography and Spatial Management from Harokopio Panepistimio, Department of Geography from 2011 to 2013. In 2011, they also obtained a Certified Computer Programmer (CCP) and a Certified Web Designer (CWD) from Aristotle Certification Training & Assessment.
