Tim Allen currently serves as the Global Head of Design and Research at Instacart, focusing on creating inclusive design solutions to enhance customer access to food. With a rich background in leadership roles, Tim has previously held positions as VP of Design at Airbnb, Partner at Microsoft Design, and Executive Creative Director at Amazon, among others. Tim's expertise spans product experience and brand design, having led teams at R/GA and contributed to significant projects for brands like Nike and Adobe. Additionally, Tim has been involved in education as an Adjunct Professor at the School of Visual Arts and as a Visiting Design Professor at North Carolina State University, further emphasizing a commitment to shaping future design leaders. Tim holds a Master of Industrial Design and a Bachelor of Art and Design from North Carolina State University.
