Yuchen Chen

Yuchen Chen has a strong academic background with a Bachelor's degree in Joint Major Mathematics and Computer Science, along with a Minor in Economics from McGill University, followed by a Master's degree in Applied Computing (Computer Science Concentration) from the University of Toronto. Yuchen has held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, focusing on monocular image-based shape retrieval using NeRF, and has contributed to projects at Ubisoft involving monocular video-based human animation retrieval. Yuchen's experience also includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Cohere, where contributions were made in LLM evaluation and CI pipeline development, continuing the career at Instacart and Shakudo in similar engineering roles, and is currently positioned at Leap Tools.
