Cyprien Courtot

Cyprien Courtot has a diverse range of work experience in the field of quantitative analytics and data science. Cyprien currently works as a Research Engineer at InstaDeep Ltd since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Barclays for several years. Their roles at Barclays include Vice President - Data Scientist - Client Analytics from March 2021 to March 2022, and Assistant Vice President - Data Scientist - Client Analytics from February 2019 to March 2021. Cyprien also completed an internship at Barclays as an Intern - Quantitative Analytics from June 2018 to December 2018. Before joining Barclays, they worked at EY as an Associate - Quantitative Advisory Services from October 2017 to June 2018, where they worked on projects involving Bayesian PCA, credit scoring, and exotic derivatives valuation. Cyprien also completed an internship at EY as an Intern - Quantitative Advisory Services from April 2017 to September 2017. Cyprien started their career as a Quantitative Developer - Summer Analyst at BlackRock from June 2016 to August 2016, where they worked on a trading signals monitoring platform using Java and JavaScript.

Cyprien Courtot has a diverse education history. Cyprien obtained a Bachelor's degree with honors from Lycée Saint Joseph de Reims in 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Lycée Jean Baptiste Say, where they pursued classes préparatoires in PCSI/PSI*. In 2014, they enrolled at the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, where they earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computational and Applied Mathematics in 2017. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Quantitative Finance at Grenoble IAE, which they completed in 2017.

Additionally, Cyprien Courtot acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills. In 2016, they obtained the Bloomberg Market Concepts certification from Bloomberg LP. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree from Udacity. Cyprien also acquired the Machine Learning Framework for Data Scientists certification from DataRobot, Inc. in July 2021.
