Alaa Hamed

Alaa Hamed has a diverse work experience in the field of frontend development. Alaa is currently working as a Senior Frontend Developer at InstaFreight since April 2023. Previously, they worked at EPAM Systems as a Senior Frontend Developer React from March 2022 to March 2023.

Prior to that, Alaa worked at Cegedim as a Frontend Developer React from August 2020 to February 2022. During their time at Cegedim, they worked remotely with the MLM team in Barcelona and the client in France. Alaa was responsible for building the frontend part using React and TypeScript. Alaa also focused on improving application performance through component profiling and implemented unit and e2e testing using Jest and Test Cafe.

Prior to that, they worked at Esri Northeast Africa as a Fullstack Software Developer from January 2013 to July 2014, using jQuery and .Net technologies. Alaa's career in software development began at Benaa Al Ajyal, where they worked as a Fullstack Software Developer from December 2011 to January 2013 using jQuery and .Net.

Alaa Hamed completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ain Shams University, attending from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Alaa Hamed obtained several certifications. In December 2022, they completed a course titled "Motivating and Engaging Employees" from LinkedIn. In March 2020, they obtained a certification for the course "Complete intro to React V5" from Frontend Masters. In October 2017, they completed a course called "Getting started with elastic search" from Udemy. They also have a certification titled "Shaping up with Angular.js" from Code School, although the specific date of completion is unknown. Furthermore, Alaa Hamed holds an edX Verified Certificate for the course "Introduction to MongoDB using the MEAN Stack" from edX.
