Philipp Ortwein

Philipp Ortwein has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2004 as an intern for 1-2-FLY GmbH. Philipp then had an internship at Alcatel-Lucent in 2005 and Anixter in 2008. In 2010, they were a student at Oliver Wyman and an intern at SMP AG. Philipp also founded exlock that same year. From 2011 to 2014, Philipp was a consultant at Bain & Company, and in 2014 they became an Entrepreneur in Residence at Freeletics. Most recently, they have been Co-Founder & Managing Director at InstaFreight GmbH since 2016.

Philipp Ortwein completed their Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration at the Ingolstadt School of Management between 2005 and 2008. Philipp then obtained a Master in International Management from the University of Exeter in 2010. In 2009, they began a Master in Management at the University of Mannheim, which they completed in 2011. In 2014, they attended Harvard University for an Executive Education in Negotiation and Leadership and Stanford University Graduate School of Business for a Stanford Innovation and Entrepreneurship Certificate.
