Henry Neves-Charge has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. In their current position as Principal Designer, Systems at instagrid, they lead the design of control systems and fleet management, with a focus on service design thinking for industrial batteries. Henry previously worked as a UX Consultant at instagrid, where they introduced the lean UX process and built prototypes of the HMI and control system for large-scale batteries.
Before joining instagrid, Henry worked as a Principal Designer at the Civil Aviation Authority, where they led the design and front-end development of the "Airspace Co-ordination and Obstacle Management" service. Henry created a custom version of GOV.UK frontend and prototype kit for this project.
Henry also has experience as a Principal Consultant (UX) at Zühlke Group, where they served as the team lead for the UCD team working on the NHS COVID-19 app, Test & Trace, and the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA). Henry managed a team of designers and researchers across four countries, working at a fast pace in a constantly changing environment.
Earlier in their career, Henry worked as a Senior User Experience Consultant at Valtech, where they led user-centered design projects for various clients. This included redesigning a business-to-business product to track retail product prices for the world's leading independent provider of strategic market research, as well as working on interaction and service design for the Department for Transport.

Henry Neves-Charge attended St Bernard's Catholic Grammar from 1999 to 2006. Henry then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Multimedia at London Metropolitan University from 2008 to 2011, achieving a first-class honors degree.
