Vishal Gupta

Vishal Gupta has a diverse work experience in product design, UI/UX, and co-founding startups. Since 2019, they have been working as the Director of Product Design at Instamojo, where they focus on providing a user-friendly experience for Indian MSMEs and individuals in the payment and e-commerce space. Vishal is responsible for the newly launched product, Smart Pages. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2019, Vishal worked as the Lead Product Design at Dunzo, where they played a key role in delivering an intuitive experience for various users, including consumers, partners, and merchants. Vishal strongly believes in the principle of "fail often, fail fast." Vishal also has experience as a Co-Founder at LensClan from 2010 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as Head UI/UX at GraspIO Innovation Pvt. Ltd. in 2015, where they focused on designing intuitive mobile and tablet experiences for IoT project makers. Vishal has also worked at Net Solutions as a Project Lead, Design Lead, and Senior Designer from 2007 to 2015. In 2008, they co-founded TriMonks and worked there until 2012. Vishal began their career as a Web Designer at A1 Technologies Ltd. in 2006 and designworx in 2005.

Vishal Gupta completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in International Business from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computers from Kurukshetra University, although the specific dates are not provided. Additionally, Vishal Gupta has acquired several additional certifications, including Applied Interaction Design: Onboarding Flow, Design Thinking: Implementing the Process, Interaction Design: Software and Web Design Patterns, Interaction Design: Structure, and a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation.
