Andrew Piper

Andrew Piper is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) since October 2021, with a concurrent role as Co-founder and Partner at Miscible Text. Previously, Andrew held postdoctoral positions at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Karolinska Institutet, where responsibilities included developing biosensors from cellulose-based materials and operating a national pandemic response center in Sweden. Andrew also contributed to research at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, University of Oxford, and served as a Research and Development Electrochemist at Relitect Limited. Andrew completed a PhD focused on electrochemical biosensors at The University of Edinburgh, where Andrew also earned both a Master’s degree in Chemistry.
