Marialena Kokkali is a PhD Researcher at Nofima since May 2018, focusing on fish nutrition, specifically the role of organic and inorganic minerals in salmon diets, as part of the EINVU research program. Prior experience includes a part-time role as a Research Assistant at Nofima's Aquafeed Technology Centre, a summer position as an Ichthyologist at Biognosis in Greece working on the EU-funded AquaBioProfit project, and internships at BioMar and the Governmental Department of Fisheries. Marialena Kokkali holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Fish Nutrition from the University of Bergen (2020-2023), a Master's degree in Aquaculture Biology from the same institution (2017-2019), and an Integrated Master of Science in Ichthyology & Aquatic Environment from the University of Thessaly (2012-2017).
